MEET THE TEAM
Dr. William J. Helms
Dr. William J. Helms, MD, FAAD graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1992. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training there in 1995. Dr. Helms received his Dermatology residency training from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1998, He became board certified in Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Also in 1998, Dr. Helms opened his private practice in Russellville, Arkansas. He practices general dermatology, including treatment for skin cancer, psoriasis, acne, rashes and warts.
Dr. Helms grew up in Russellville, Arkansas and graduated from Russellville High School. He and his wife, Kelli, and their three kids have lived in Arkansas since 1988. He attends Four Winds Church where he is active in leadership. He enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting and seeing new places.
Karen Branch, DNP APRN
Karen Branch DNP, APRN, was born and raised in Pope County and graduated from Atkins High School. She received her undergraduate Biology degree at UCA Masters' of Science Education at Washington State University and taught as a high school science teacher for over a decade. Continuing her education, Karen got her Masters' in Nursing and later her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Vanderbilt University. She has been an Advanced Practice Nurse since 2009 and has had experience working in a Family Practice Clinic, along with in a hospital setting as a Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine. For fun she enjoys spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities such as playing tennis, four wheeler riding, boating and kayaking.
Jonna Webb,
MS PA-C
Jonna Webb, PA-C graduated top of her class with a 4.0 GPA from Harding University’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program in the Alpha Class of 2007. She brings 15 years of dermatological clinical experience with her, in addition to 4 years of dermatologic office experience. Her undergraduate degree was obtained at Arkansas Tech University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology.
Jonna was born and raised in Clarksville, Arkansas. She and her husband, Kevin, of 31 years have 4 children. Jonna enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, spending time with her family, hiking, camping, teaching, running, embracing a challenging experience, and participating in both individual and group Bible studies.
